10kV Class Amorphous Alloy Transformer

The SH15 type three-phase oil-immersed amorphous alloy core transformer is a new type of energy-saving, fully sealed transformer circuit using iron-based amorphous alloy materials as its core. Its no-load loss is only 30% of that of the S11 type oil-immersed transformer of the same capacity, and its no-load current is also reduced by half. Simultaneously, it has extremely low noise, exhibiting significant energy-saving and environmental protection benefits. It is a long-term product for power distribution network upgrades, particularly suitable for rural areas, towns, schools, streetlights, and other areas with large fluctuations in electricity load.

■Structural Features

  1. The core adopts an iron-based amorphous alloy core with a non-crystalline alloy structure, resulting in low magnetization power and high resistivity, thus low eddy current loss and very low no-load loss and no-load current.
  2. Due to the relatively low density and saturation magnetic flux density (approximately 1.5T) of amorphous alloy cores, the rated flux density (1.3-1.4T) is lower than that of cold-rolled hard steel sheets (1.6-1.7T). Furthermore, the rectangular cross-section wound core structure contributes to the extremely low noise of amorphous alloy transformers.
  3. The high and low voltage windings are wound in a special manner, allowing them to withstand significant mechanical stress when a short circuit occurs, preventing winding deformation and greatly improving the short-circuit withstand capability of the amorphous alloy transformer.
  4. The transformer cores are all three-phase, five-limb structures. Zero-sequence magnetic flux flows through two side sections, bypassing the housing and eliminating heat generation and structural losses, enabling the transformer to achieve low noise and low loss requirements.
